INL News Week Ending 14 April 2012
Welcome to our newest members this week in the lab. We know by experience the more you participate and ask
questions the faster you will progress on the learning curve. The faster you grow on that learning curve, the better you will become.

Announcements:
The new clickmeeting conference facility is working well. Yes, it does provide features we were looking for, but does also come with it’s challenges as we learn to work with the facility. We are challenging our members to do some show and tell – a short presentation as it were. You can talk about your website or product, you can show your favorite promotion tools. No, you do not have to do a full 30 minute presentation 5 to 10 minutes will do. It is a way we can all learn more about click meeting and how it works. Take a minute to go to:
http://www.clickmeeting.com/learning_center There are two PDFs to add to your eBook collection Running Effective Meetings, and 20 Tips For Presenters.
Login to your member’s area, click on Promote in the navigation menu. Open the training for Webinars. There is a contact form, let us know what you would like to promote and when.

What’s Happened last Week?
Sunday April, 8 Computers & Computing with Bill – Session canceled. Easter Sunday.
Monday: April, 9 Reach to Achieve with Carolyn - Why do we need goals? We focused on the goals of the Lab.
We have completed the first quarter of 2012 and entering the second. Would review of your business plan show you on target for this year?
Thursday April, 12 Let’s Talk Promotion – What is Skype and how can it help you in business. Netowrking is all about building relationships and communications. Skype can help with both. We also demonstrated how to use
the referral builder in the Internet Niche Lab
Friday April, 13 Tackling The Techie Stuff – We had our challenges with the conference room tonight. Both Tim
and James (Australia) either could not hear or could not speak. I may move this conference to a meeting room as
opposed to a webinar. There are differences not just in the total number of attendees, but definitely in the features of the room. This does mean however, that seats are limited.
