Beginning of Week Two – How’s it going so far?

Why not hire yourself out? Folks of any experience can do it. if you have a talent for writing sales copy, then there is a high paying market for it, but if you’re not sure of your writing talents, then look for those wanting articles to be re-written for them.

Human article “spinners” can do a much better job than software. The pay may not be high, but you may be able to make up for it if you are a quick typist. This would give you the experience and confidence to take on larger or more detailed work.

Again, you can search for people seeking to have work done or post your services for hire. Here’s a small list of sites to check out.

  • Constant- Content-  You can look for work to be done or post your work for sale.
  • Helium – Similar to Constant-Content except that you do not sell your articles, but can enter all sorts of contests and look for projects in their MarketPlace.
  • Craig’s List – check the Gig’s section for work needed or post your services in the Services section. Since you can do this from home, you can search multiple cities. Unfortunately CL listings are listed by locale and there is no one place to find or post Global jobs.

you can look for services needed or list your services for hire at these next sites.

  • eLance
  • Hire My Mom – unfortunately this is not a free site. is a site for Virtual Assistants or VA’s in general, but they do have a writing category.
  • Freelance Writing – can post a free help wanted ad or bid on posted jobs.
  • iFreelance -  works on the bidding for job style.

This video is on how to find Freelance Writing Jobs by expertvillage on YouTube, which has an entire series on the topic.

You can also get paid to write reviews- this are is becoming more regulated due to the new FCC rulings, so do your homework before jumping on this bandwagon. The most popular site for this is:

  1. Pay Per Post – you write reviews of websites or products and  publish them on your own site. You do need to have a domain so you cannot do this on free sites like Squidoo or Blogger.

Again Google  “getting paid to write (your niche)  reviews” for niche specific review sites.

These are some of the most popular Freelancing sites, Just Google  “freelance writing jobs online” and a large list will come up. Be sure to read their TOS or Terms of Use and when and how you will get paid, etc.

Other ideas are newspapers and magazines, some will pay you and others just accept articles by donation.

This coming week, we will concentrate on using articles for your Affiliate Marketing.

By the way, see the Buzz up button below? click on it and buzz this post to Yahoo Buzz Up service. Doing so will bring you backlinks to your own site, as will leaving comments.
